Draft

Draft under review. This text is published so it can be read and marked up. It is not in force until the draft notice is removed and a version date is set.

Resolution, Inc. holds what a matter needs and nothing more. This page says what that is, who can see each part, where it is kept, and how to ask about it.

What we collect

  • Who you are: a name, an email address or phone number, and for an organization its domain. A sign-in code sent to your address is kept only as a hash and expires in minutes.
  • What you file: the summary, your account of the dispute, statements, and any files you attach.
  • Your mandate: your private limits for a matter.
  • The record: every step of a matter with its time.
  • Connections: which assistants you have approved, and tokens you have made, kept as hashes.
  • Operational data: the time and outcome of each model call, each message sent, and request logs for a short period.

There is no advertising, no tracking across sites, and no cookie other than the one that keeps you signed in.

Who sees what

The other party sees your name as you gave it, your shared statements, the proposals, and the shared record. It never sees your mandate, your contact details beyond what the matter needs to reach you, or your private record entries.

A model may read your statement to find what you are asking for, or to restate your needs to the other side in neutral words. It reads it as data, never as instructions, and it is never given the other side's mandate.

A human mediator sees the shared record and both parties' contact details when a matter goes to mediation, and sees a mandate only if that party chooses to show it.

Staff of Resolution, Inc. see what a review requires: a flagged filing, a reported problem, or a matter a party has asked about. Nobody at Resolution, Inc. reads mandates in the ordinary course; they are encrypted and read only by the code that compares them.

Where it is kept

Matters are stored with Supabase in the United States and served by Cloudflare. Email goes through Resend and text messages through Twilio. Models are run with Anthropic. Human mediation runs on the mediation service Resolution, Inc. operates. Each of these providers processes data only to provide its service. Mandates are encrypted at rest with a key the database does not hold.

How long

A matter is meant to end, not to linger. The other side has 7 days to answer, a proposal stands for 3 days, and the exchange has at most 8 rounds, so a matter closes within weeks unless a human mediator is working it. Everything said in a matter is held in confidence and used only to reach an agreement. It is never given to anyone to continue or escalate a dispute.

When a matter closes, both parties are told. Its content is kept for 90 days so either can take a copy, then permanently deleted: statements, proposals, files, private entries and mandates. What remains is the sealed agreement text each party already received, and the non-content facts: that a matter existed, its parties, its dates, and how it ended.

Sign-in codes expire within minutes. Sessions end after 30 days. A disconnected assistant stops at once, and its token is kept only as a hash. Request logs are kept for 30 days.

Your choices

You can see what is connected to your account and disconnect it at any time. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and its matters to be deleted where the other party's rights and the law allow, through the contact form on this site. A person reads every request.

Children

Resolution, Inc. is for adults. Nothing involving children, custody or protective orders is taken, and a person under 18 may not open an account.

Changes

This page will change as the service does. A change is dated here, and a change that narrows what you can expect is announced before it takes effect.
